Data protection law

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has raised data protection law to a completely new level, which has created a wide range of obligations for the companies concerned in particular. The focus of our data protection advice is the legally compliant handling of claims arising from the GDPR. The incorrect or delayed disclosure of substantiated claims now opens up scope under the Regulation for claims for damages, including non-material claims, the specific requirements for which are constantly being further developed by case law. Data protection issues are therefore becoming increasingly important and, in the absence of legal support, often unnecessarily tie up extensive resources within the company.
